Indian Point Retreat
The decks around the pavilion were constructed to provide level and dry access to the main entrance and screened in porch. Composite decking with concealed fasteners was used for it's low maintenance and seamless look. Wood posts anchor thin metal cables that makeup the railing system and give the deck a more transparent feel.

Merepoint Bay
Although technically the "side door" this entrance off the kitchen sees the most use due to it's proximity to the detached garage to the West. The original stair from the door had an interesting appeal in the way it cascaded down on three sides. Although the wooden stringers and treads were in disrepair the client requested for the design of the stair to remain unchanged but to use more robust, longer lasting and lower maintenance materials.
